Obama Really Doesn't Want The Recession To End

In his first thirty days in office President Obama has spent more money than any human being in history. We are know looking with the spendulus or as Mike Huckabee likes to call it the " Congressional Relief  Action Plan," or for short we will call it CRAP. Then we have the Omnibus bill to keep the government running. This bill with its 9000 earmarks is just disgusting. So when Obama was asked about the earmarks he said it was last years business and was just going to be passed. So because it was from the Bush administration it makes it ok to leave all those billions of dollars in earmarks? What happened to change we can believe in? Must be only with his bills. Then right after  talking about fiscal responsibility in his speach to congress he comes out with his budget for 2010. Included in this budget is 600 billion dollars towards national health care, this is only a down payment. So the 2010 defict will be around 8 trillion dollars. Then he wants to cut the deficit in half after he raised it. How can that happen?
 
See the way I see it Obama does not care whether or not this stuff can be paid for, all he wants is to push his idealogical adgena onto the country and who cares if we can't pay for it. I really don't believe that Obama wants to end this recession. In fact the lower we go the easier it is for him to remodel America into the Euro-socialist nation he wants to create.
 
He has the mindset that if he does it it will work. Never mind every country in Europe that has done it, their economies have been border line failing before all this global recession mess started. The people in those countries are taxed to death and have very little wealth. They go to work every day to make a living, but really are held down and cannot go any farther because of the government system they  live in. Thats what Obama wants. He wants our government to control how much you make, were you work, how much taxes you pay, etc. Then pass on what he needs too to your neighbor who may not make as much as you. That way no one is poor, but there is no growth. No motivation to better ones self.  
 
If you look at the CRAP bill, he has structured the type of projects he is willing to start. Obama has stated what types of energy we will have in our country. There will be no oil, so the car companies will have to build cars that will function on the sources of energy Obama has dicated we will have, thats why we are bailing the car companies out. With enough government influence the car companies will build those cars, basically dictating what kinds of cars we can drive. Obama knows that the CRAP bill will not work, he just needs it to work his agenda. Nothing but a big nanny state.
 
Barack Obama believes that government is the solution rather than the problem. But when it is stated that it is a government for the people by the people, when will we be allowed a say in what happens? I believe that shortly many of those who supported Obama and voted for him will become disillusioned with him becasue of what he is doing. They will see that they voted a lie. They will see that they elected our nations first tyrant. He may be quiet not like your typical tyrants, but with how our country is set up he can't do that. He must be sneaky in his ways. He cannot behave like a Hugo Chavez. Thats why in all the spending bills and his budget you can see things he campaigned on snuck in to get passed without debate. Why do you think he wants all these Czaars for different things. That way he can skirt around the congress and get things he wants done. It is a power grab. I am glad some one in his party sees it. Senator Byrd has called Obama out on it. Stating it is a power grab. But you only will hear that on Fox, all the other stations are covering fluff. Like Michelle Obama's official White House photo, or what small regional banks are failing today. That is breaking news I might ad at least to Anderson Cooper. So then the programs Obama snuck in become law and we are then on the hook for the money. Thats why he doesn't want to end the recession yet. All these emergency spending bills help his cause. With his fear monguring speaches he can get his plans passed as stimulus. Then when it is too late we can say what happened. 
 
All we can do as conservatives right now is get ready to fight in 2010 and 2012. We need to get our cause back on track. We need to get candidates who are true conservatives who can move the people. Then we need to come out with both barrels loaded and don't look back. I saw Newt Gingrich's speach today a CPAC and I only wish that he would run. Or at least we could find more like him. He was right on the money. But I do believe that Obama will only be a one term president. He is only worried about his adgenda not terms. His success will be compared to Jimmy Carter, but what will we be stuck with in the end? What kind of damage will be done that cannot be reversed? I only hope and pray not much.

Hillary's Asian Visit And The Stimulus Plan Connection

So here we are, close to 800 billion dollar spendulus bill, ready to be dispursed. Rushed through congress faster than any other legislation in history. President Obama told congress and the nation this bill must be passed and set in motion or the sky was going to fall. Then we have Secretary of State Hillary Clinton taking her first trip in her new position to visit Asian countries, especially China. Then we have President Obama stating he will cut the deficit from 1.3 trillion to 500 billion and change. I do not have the exact numbers but I do know the difference is around 800 billion dollars. How much was the stimulus package? 700 almost 800 billion dollars? So what is the connection? Let me tell you.
 
In his infinate wisdom, President Obama rammed the spendulus bill down our throats. He then, once it was passed went to China for a loan. China said I don't think so because you owe us too much money now as it is. So Obama starting to sweat a little, send Hillary to China to sweet talk them into loaning the US the money. But to no avail, China is sticking to their guns. I don't blame China, we owe them enough. You can only borrow so much before the well dries up.  So then Obama comes out and says I am going to get the deficit lowered. Roughly the amount of the stimulus bill. He has stated it is time for us to become fiscally responsible. Were was this attitude when you were ramming the biggest pork barrel bill that has ever seen the light of day down our throats? There is more pork in that spendulus bill than in a Spam factory. But anyway why all of a sudden the worry about fiscal responsability? It seems he can't get the money, so he must start the old printing presses. In doing this he will make our money completely worthless. Inflation will sky rocket. That is why he wants to cut spending. To lessen the blow when the presses start. So basically our whole budget is the spendulus bill and the rest of the government will suffer with lack of funding. He then will raise the taxes on the rich and business to cover all of this. So there goes more jobs and this whole mess will be dragged out even longer. What a nightmare. Can't he see that all of these tactics have been done before? They dragged the depression out longer than it had too.
 
But do you see the connection. Why Hillary went top Asia and why Obama is all of a sudden wanting to talk about fiscal responsability? Becasue he can't get the money for his brain child, the spendulus package, the Obama, Pelosi, Reid Bankrupt America and Wealth Redistribution Act of 2009. So know Obama is scrambling to try and get the funds he has signed into law and spread them around. Because we all know that Arnold has said that not only will he take his, but also any other governor who does not want theirs, he will take it for California. Boy he sure sounds like a liberal to me. 
 
So in essense Obama signes a spending bill to spend money we don't have and won't have. I think he should have checked the money source first. It's the same old thinking we are the US they will give it to us  no problem. Pres. Obama news flash new day and time we as a country do not have that pull anymore.  Our economy caused alot of this financial crisis in other countries as well, so they are not to pleased with us. Why would they give us the money?

The Proposal

I recieved this in an email today, thought I would share it with you all.

The Proposal:

When a company falls on difficult  times, one of the things that seems to happen is they reduce  their staff and workers.  The remaining workers need to find  ways to continue to do a good job or risk that their job  would be eliminated as well. Wall street, and the media  normally congratulate the CEO for making this type of   "tough decision", and his board of directors gives  him a big bonus. 

 

Our  government should not be immune from similar risks. Therefore: Reduce the House of  Representatives from the current 435 members to 218 members and Senate members from 100 to 50 (one per State).  Also reduce remaining staff by 25%. Accomplish this over the next 8 years.  (two steps / two elections) and of course this would require some redistricting.  Some yearly monetary gains  include:  

  • $44,108,400 for elimination of  base pay for congress.  (267 members X $165,200 pay / member  / yr ..) 
  •  $97,175,000 for elimination of the above people's staff.  (estimate $1.3 Mil in staff  per each member of the House, and $3 Mil in staff per  each  member of the Senate every year) 
  • $240,294 for the reduction in remaining staff by 25%.  
  • $7,500,000,000 reduction in pork  barrel ear-marks each year.  (those members whose jobs are  gone.  Current estimates for total government pork earmarks  are at $15 Billion / yr) 
  • The remaining representatives  would need to work smarter and would need to improve efficiencies.  It might even be in their best interests to work together for the good of our country?  
We may also expect that smaller committees might lead to a more efficient resolution of issues as well.  It might even be easier  to keep track of  what your representative is doing.  Congress has more tools  available  to do their jobs than it had back in 1911 when the current number of representatives was established.  (telephone,  computers, cell phones to name a few) 
 
Note:  to head  home when it was a holiday, when the nation needed a real  fix to the economic problems.  Also, we have 3 senators that have not been doing their jobs for the past 18+ months (on the campaign trail) and still they all have been accepting full pay.  These facts alone support a reduction in senators  & congress. Summary of opportunity: 
  • $ 44,108,400 reduction of  congress members. 
  • $282,100,000 elimination of the  reduced house member staff. 
  • $150,000,000 for elimination of  reduced senate member staff. 
  • $59,675,000-25% staff reduction  for remaining house members. 
  • $37,500,000-25% staff reduction  for remaining senate members. 
  • $7,500,000,000 reduction in pork   added to bills by the reduction of 20 congress members. 
  • Estimated total savings $8,073,383,400 per year. 

If Congresspersons were required  to serve 20, 25 or 30 years (like everyone else) in order to collect retirement benefits there is no telling how much we  would save. Now they get full retirement  after serving only ONE term.

Holder Calls Us All Cowards, But Who Really Is The Coward?

I say Holder is the real coward. See he is a liberal. He pardoned terrorists during his time under Janet Reno and turned Elian Gonzalez over to his communist father under gun point. But really he is a coward like all other liberals because they don't like being stuck with labels. Labels like homophobe or Islamophobe etc. See liberals want to include everyone, exept Christians. They will side with gays even if what the gays want is immoral just so they are not called homophobes. Liberals will side and protect Muslims and terrorists just to keep from being called an Islamophobe. But in the end those same Muslims will eat them alive just like they do everyone else until the Muslims control everything.
 
Right now the Muslims are content to sit and allow the liberals to protect them. This allows for their numbers to grow. When the number of Muslims in the country gets large enough they will start their demonstrations to get their rights. They will push until they get Sharia law recognized. Then when that happens they will turn against the liberals, because they are infidels too. See what the liberals don't realize is that the Muslims will bite the hand that feeds them and wil devour the whole body when through. Look at England and other parts of Europe. These countries became so liberal that they allowed Muslims their way, why? Because of the same reason here, they don't want to be labeled Islamophobes or intolerant etc.
 
As for me I could care less about these name tags. I don't care if you call me a homophobe, Islamophobe, intollerant, racist what ever. Because if I think something is wrong no matter what tag you give me for it, whatever it is, it's still wrong. People are too sensative over names and being politcally correct. I am a Christian and an American who loves my country. I am saddened and angry about the direction we are going. The liberals giving away the farm basically. No longer calling the War on Terror that, rather not even mentioning it. Another tactic to keep the Muslims happy. No more terms being used like Islamic extremists or illegal aliens, just liberal crap, to make themselves feel good.
 
The inspiration for this post came from a program I listened too yesterday. Go here Faith To Action  listen to Thursday's program with Walid Shoebat. Walid is a former Muslim terrorist who has converted to Christianity. When you listen to this program you will understand were I am coming from. The liberals are going to get us all killed or better yet stuck in a Islamofascist state.

Look At California And New York For Our Future

With the "Spendulus" signed into law we need to see were we are going. I hear the cries of socialism all over the place and I do agree with those cries, but we have bigger problems than that. TARP and the other plans have allowed our government to become, bankers , automakers, insurance companies, and mortgage grantors. But with all of the plans and stimulus nothing has helped. The problem we are facing is going to be the United States going bankrupt. Look at California. The state of California is the eighth largest economy in the world, and it is crashing. California is broke. They will have a budget shortfall of approximately 40 billion dollars. Unemployment payments have stopped. People will not get their tax refunds any time soon. The state will soon have a problem making pay roll for it's employees. Funny thing is California is the most liberal state in the union as well. You can say that Arnie is a republican, but he really is not. He is into the California, liberal, spend alot mindset. The state spends millions of dollars caring for illegal aliens. Yes I said it, illegal aliens. California has the largets population of illegals in the United States. The illegals get better benefits than the citizens. Free health care, welfare, food stamps, etc. Oh yeah and they do work, but being illegal it's usually government not included. So they get paid both ways. These aliens usually don't pay any taxes so they are a burden to the state not an asset. These people need to be rounded up and sent back over the border. Sorry if I am sounding intolerant, but if I, a Florida resident who pays taxes, now has to have my tax money sent to California to bail them out for fiscal irresponsibility. Then I say someone needs to take control. The liberal mindset of spend alot, land of entitlements is not working. We need to take care of our own.
 
Now this doesn't only include California, New York is also in a bad way. Since taking office David Patterson has raised numerous taxes to try and get money to the state government for it to survive. Do you see a pattern here with my two examples? The two biggest most liberal states in the union are on the brink of collapsing financially because of government overspending and fiscal irresponsibility. Our liberal led government is looking to spend us into oblivion, just like Californoia and soon to be New York. With the 780 billion dollar spendulus plan is only the beginning. Soon no one will lend us the money anymore to fund our country. China is having problems of their own and have already stated that they will not lend to the US anymore. Our credit as a country is running dry. If we print the money, then it will devalue the money we have, driving inflation into double digits.  This will only drive the recession further down. We saw that in the seventies with Carter. Double digit inflation caused people not to spend making the recession deeper.
 
So with all this spending we can look to California and New York to see were we are going. Spending to stimulate and grow an economy does not work. Putting us as a country further into debt to try and stop the bleeding is irresponsible. History has shown through out that this type of program does not work.  It just seems that the mindset is "their plan may not have worked, but because this is my plan it will work." Problem is that government has changed very little. No matter how well the plan looks on paper, our rocket scientists in the government will always find a way to mess it up. This is just how it works. So get ready, our country is going to be broke and going bankrupt soon. What country will repo us for all the loans that go unpaid? Only time will tell.

A Danger To The Republican Party

Yesterday while picking my daughter up from school I was listening to a program on a Christian radio station. The show was Faith to Action with Janet Porter. I have been listening every afternoon since I found the program while sitting at the school. Well yesterday's subject was on the growing persecution of Christians in the United States. How the left is slowly more and more pulling rights away from Christians and turning our beliefs into hate speech. This situation of turning Christian beliefs into hate speech is growing and is what is driving the left into trying to criminalize Christianity. Funny though is that if the left thinks our Christian beliefs are bad, why do they support Muslims who beliefs on gays etc. are more intollerant than ours. Muslims want to kill gays for being gay, Christians just don't want it rammed down their throats and flaunted in their faces. Christians don't want being gay flaunted as normal. But by no means do Christians want to kill gays for being gay like Muslims. But the left is very intelligent in that aspect.
But I digress, the real reason for this post is in yesterdays Faith to Action program I heard the term Log Cabin Republicans. It was a brief mention and I did not get what a Log Cabin Republican is, so I looked it up. A Log Cabin Republican is a branch of the republican party that is growing stronger. These republicans are pushing for gay rights. They believe in same sex marriage etc. They are fighting for equal rights for gays. See for yourself this is a dangerous situation for a conservative republican party. This movement is growing and gaining ground. Before they take us over we need to get our leadership to stop that movement. Our party needs to stand up and break any ties with this group. These values are not republican values and must not be incorporated in to the party. This is a danger to our party. Spread the word.

Were Are All The Penalties And Interest

First I would like to thank all the Townhallers for their prayers this past week while I have been absent due to back surgery last week.
 
With the new administration taking over, congress has been busy confirming Obama's cabinet members. Some very large tax scandals have come to light. Timothy Geitner who was confirmed for Treasury Secretary owed around 34,000 dollars in back taxes. Seems he knew about this for some time, but only recently paid them right befroe his selection.
 
Next we have Tom Daschle who owes Uncle Sam well over 100,000 dollars in back taxes. Daschle has been picked for HHS secretary. These taxes were a combination of gift taxes and payroll taxes for a car and driver given to him by a friend. First I surely wouldn't mind having a friend give me a car and driver, but I, a lowly minion well beneath these people, know that you have to pay income tax on a gift like that. Plus when you pay the driver you need to pay payroll taxes. Now Daschle has known about these taxes owed for a while but hasn't paid them till recently, like Geitner.
 
So we see that these two men owed the government quite alot of money. The were not harrassed to pay. They were not forced to pay until the matter may have been made public. If these two were never selected for their appointed position, would they have ever paid? I don't know. What I do know is this. If that was you or I, we would probablely be living in a freaking box. With all the penalies the "unclean", like you and I, would have to pay it would probablely dwarft the original tax. Then if we failed to pay I am sure jail time would be in order. But why didn't those two have the strong arm of the IRS weighing down on them just like if it was you or I? Is it because they are "special"? What is worse is what will Geitner do know? He is the Treasury Secretary. This position also makes him head of the IRS. So will he be leanent to the average taxpayer just as the IRS was to him?  I just think it is who you are that matters. I hate the fact that these people get special treatment, and are allowed to somewhat break the law and not pay any penalties.
