Wikipedia defines the terms Islamphobe and Islamophobia as such "
Islamophobia is a
neologism that refers to
prejudice or
discrimination against
Islam or
Muslims.

September 11, 2001 attacks.

Runnymede Trust defined Islamophobia as the "dread or hatred of Islam and therefore, to the fear and dislike of all Muslims," stating that it also refers to the practice of
discriminating against Muslims by excluding them from the economic, social, and public life of the nation. It includes the perception that Islam has no values in common with other cultures, is inferior to the West and is a violent
political ideology rather than a
religion.
[4] Professor Anne Sophie Roald writes that steps were taken toward official acceptance of the term in January 2001 at the "Stockholm International Forum on Combating Intolerance", where Islamophobia was recognized as a form of intolerance alongside
Xenophobia and
Antisemitism.

European Union watchdog, released a report entitled "Summary report on Islamophobia in the EU after 11 September 2001", which described an increase in Islamophobia-related incidents in European member states post-9/11.

In this defenition Islamophobia is comapred to Antisemitism and Xenophobia. I believe this to be wrong. The Islam faith requires jhihad to spread the faith around the world. To force all to submit or be killed. This is the goal of Islam no matter what the politically correct media or others say. I do not believe there is such thing a moderate Muslims. I think there are "silent Muslims." Silent Muslims are the ones like we see saying Islam is a peaceful religion, but don't ever condemn or deny acts of terrorism. Organizations like CAIR do this. They push for rights for Muslims, but will always dance around acts of terrorism, they will not say they denfend the acts but they will not condemn them either. They just excuse them. Poor misunderstood Muslims. You cannot compare Islamophobia to Antisemitism, because antisemitism is the hatered of the Jews. Islamophobia is the fear of Muslims forcing the whole world into submission as is stated by their Imams and clerics. Read

That is why I am an Islamophobe. Not becasue I hate Muslims. I am a Christian, I am to love all as Jesus taught. But rather I am fearful of the agenda Islam has and the way world governments, including our own, are bowing down to Islam. We fight a war on terror, but on the otherside we grant these people priviledges such as prayer time during school time. Were was the ALCU on this? If this were Christians or Jews, the case would have hit the Supreme Court in a New York minute. Fear, thats right fear is what is driving this acceptance of Muslim ways. Our officials truely fear Muslims uprising like spoiled two year olds when they don't get their way. The only difference is two year olds don't wear bomb vests. Sharia law is starting to be accepted by secular countries as the law of the land to accomidate the Muslims. Now if Muslims are not natural born citizens of a country should they not assimilate into the society they are now living in? They are supposed to, but rather they segregate themselves into areas to be seperate from the rest of society. But they will force their views on the rest of the society they inhabit. We are starting to see this in the United States. Just recently we have seen on the news the protests regarding Israel and the conflict in Gaza. These protest are pro-Palestinian. This is something new. The usually quiet "moderate" Muslim society in the United States is starting to stand up. They are showing us they are here, and I sure don't believe they are moderate. They now, since the election of Barack Obama, feel impowered because of our newly elected liberal government. The liberals are siding with the Muslims, allowing them to feel comfortable in expressing themselves. But what will happen when these very same Muslims get what they want and the liberals will not be able to practice their liberaism? Liberals are being used as pawns in the Muslim agenda. Sad they can't see it do to the p.c. goggles.
I will not deny my faith in Jesus for no man. Our country has been founded on a set of core values and rights. While we have strayed away from many of these values as a nation, our constitution still guarentees these values and rights. Sharia law will take those rights and values from us. For me being an Islamphobe is not hatred, but rather a way of defending my way of life.
